Five players from the Highland Storm Midget A team have been selected to play in the MPS Midget All-Star game on Sunday December 21st in Huntsville. Because the team is presently in first place as of Dec. 1st, we are allowed to send five players. The players selected are 3rd year goalie Paddy Manuge, 2nd year defencemen Matt Rae and Drew Paul and 2nd year forwards Scott Griffith and Keaton Gadway. A skills contest at 1:30 is followed by the game at 3:30 in Huntsville.

On November 1st the Highland Storm Midget rep team played three games at their home tournament in Minden with two wins, just enough to advance to the semi-finals on Sunday morning.

In their best game of the season the Storm beat a strong team from Cambridge to advance to the finals against last years all Ontario Champions from Schomberg.

Playing with a lot of heart but very little gas, Schomberg overpowered the Storm for the championship. The Storm coaching staff would like to thank the team for playing with class and pride during the tournament.
