Midget team goes to finals in home tournament
Saturday, November 15th, 2008On November 1st the Highland Storm Midget rep team played three games at their home tournament in Minden with two wins, just enough to advance to the semi-finals on Sunday morning.
In their best game of the season the Storm beat a strong team from Cambridge to advance to the finals against last years all Ontario Champions from Schomberg.
Playing with a lot of heart but very little gas, Schomberg overpowered the Storm for the championship. The Storm coaching staff would like to thank the team for playing with class and pride during the tournament.
