Highland Storm Minor Hockey Registration Update for 2020/2021 Season
As you all know normally by this time of year we are already starting to prepare and get ready for the upcoming season. However, in this unprecedented time there is still a lot of unknown about when the season will start and what it might like look.
Any decision regarding the 2020/21 season remains based on the health and safety of our players, co
...aching staff, families and community with the guidance of the Province of Ontario, local township governments, the Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health unit and Hockey Canada.
In the meantime, we continue to hope for the best and prepare for the upcoming season.
Our online registration will be available starting today and will be open until August 15, 2020 with the hope that the season will begin as planned in September.
We are asking that everyone submit their registration on time so that we can start to get a good understanding of how many players we will have this season.
The executive may be required to make adjustments to that deadline based on guidance from the organizations mentioned earlier. At this time we are not going to be asking for any registration fees. Details regarding the cost for the upcoming season will be provided at later date.
We have received a few inquiries regarding coaching applications for the upcoming season however, at this time coach selection has been put on hold until we have a better idea of what the season structure will look like.
We appreciate everyone’s patience during this time and we will provide more details as soon as they become available.
