Welcome to the HSHMA 2019/2020 hockey season! In Person Registration is now CLOSED but there are still 2 great ways to register:

1. ONLINE: To register your player online, simply click on the REGISTER ONLINE button below and follow the prompts. A $10 Administration fee applies to all online registrations.

 Download and complete the Highland_Storm_2019-2020 Registration Form, and mail it, along with the appropriate fees to Box 406, Minden ON K0M 2K0.

All New players to Highland Storm must also include a copy of their birth certificate
with any of the above registration methods.



2019/20 Registration Fees

Early Bird*
$380.00 - Initiation 1 and 2 
$500.00 - Local League (all levels)
$640.00 - OMHA Rep (all levels)

Regular Fee (after June 30th)
$480.00 - Initiation 1 and 2
$600.00 - Local League (all levels)
$740.00 - OMHA Rep (all levels)

Note - All fees are subject to a $10 Administration fee when registering online. 

Payment Options

Payment options include: Cash, Cheque, Credit Card (on-line registrations only) or e-transfer to: [email protected].

Cheques are to be made payable to: Highland Storm Minor Hockey Association

Please Note:
After the June 30th deadline, registration fees increase by $100 and spots cannot be guaranteed for players who have not registered by this deadline.

We offer the following discounts for players:

1. Never Played Before? No problem, we offer a $100 First Year Player fee.

2. *Early Bird Discount:
$100 off the registration fee if a player is registered by June 30, 2019.

3. Family Multi-Player Discount:
$50 off per player when registering 3 or more players in the same family.

Changes in Registration

Some of the changes being implemented for the 2019/2020 hockey season are:

  • Respect in Sport (RiS) Parent Certification is required in order for a child to play hockey. A minimum of 1 parent MUST complete the RiS Parent Certification before registering a player. If you do not have your certification, please visit
  • If your child is 7 years of age (as of December 31, 2019), they will be registered in the new Minor Novice Program, which has replaced the Tyke Program.
  • Modified Ice Programs for Initiation, Minor Novice and Novice players will include cross-ice and half ice programming.
