Changes in Registration

Some of the changes being implemented for the 2019/2020 hockey season are:

  • Respect in Sport (RiS) Parent Certification is required in order for a child to play hockey. A minimum of 1 parent MUST complete the RiS Parent Certification before registering a player. If you do not have your certification, please visit www.omhahockeyparent.respectgroupinc.com.
  • If your child is 7 years of age (as of December 31, 2019), they will be registered in the new Minor Novice Program, which has replaced the Tyke Program.
  • Modified Ice Programs for Initiation, Minor Novice and Novice players will include cross-ice and half ice programming.
